CommerceGuys Brings on a New Themer

Monday August 17th saw the expansion of the CommerceGuys' team to include Patrick Teglia (formerly of 33rd Prime), in the role of themer and developer. Patrick will help drive implementation of existing designs, assist in UI improvements, as well as helping to make UberCart more themable.

Said Tim Hill of Patrick's acceptance of the job offer: "I am jumping up and down like a little kid!"

About Patrick:

In his search for a great community and open source project to be an active part of, Patrick found Drupal and never turned back. Since that time, Patrick has been a freelance Drupal developer and consultant, for companies and communities both very large and small, such as Intuit, ShinEtsu Silicones, and MomsTeam.

In the community, Patrick has been doing interesting things like serving Drupal from a Google G1 phone, contributing code to Drupal, as well as providing a few contrib themes. Patrick also enjoys helping other Drupal enthusiasts find their way in the Drupal IRC channels, as well as evangelizing the benefits of Drupal at every opportunity.

Prior to finding Drupal, Patrick had been seen creating blogs and cms engines with other frameworks, committing graphic design, white-hat hacking as a Security+ certified security consultant to Washington state banks and credit unions, as well as running a successful commercial photography studio. In the far distant past, Patrick had worked as a HP3000 and Lotus Notes support tech for Hewlett Packard.

When not physically attached to some electronic device, Pat enjoys hiking with his wife and two unbelievably cute girls, taking pictures of shiny things, and becoming fully immersed in books and movies.

Prior to joining the CommerceGuys, Patrick ran 33rd Prime, a Drupal shop and Acquia Silver partner that specialized in medium sized site implementations and theming. 33rd Prime will be shutting its doors and referring it's current business support needs to Acquia and CommerceGuys as needed.
